Disney CEO and President Bob Iger also sits on the board of the Partnership for a New American Economy with the likes of Rupert Murdoch, former mayor of San Antonio Julian Castro whose mother co-founded La Raza, Michael Bloomberg, former mayor of NYC, President and CEO of United States-Mexico Chamber of Commerce Al Zapanta, Founder and CEO of Facebook and co-founder of FWD US Mark Zuckerberg, and many other mayors and CEO's from across America.
The Partnership for a New American Economy and FWD.US exists for the sole reason to create a large and steady supply of cheap foreign labor. They have waged a campaign of misinformation claiming:
- There are not enough Americans workers to fill the Tech industry's needs,
- American needs to increase H-1B visas because our colleges aren't producing enough graduates in the STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)

It is a well-funded propaganda machine designed to further suppress wages and increase corporate profits at the expense of American workers. These organizations push for amnesty for illegal aliens and increasing the cap on foreign guest worker visas. The campaign of misinformation starts with the mission statement of each group.
"FWD.US is mobilizing the tech community in support of policies that keep the American Dream achievable in the 21st century, starting with comprehensive immigration reform."
"The Partnership for a New American Economy brings together more than 500 Republican, Democratic, and Independent mayors and business leaders who support immigration reform as a way of creating jobs for Americans today."
We find it impossible to understand how firing American workers, replacing them with H-1B visa holders, flooding the American labor market with cheap foreign illegal and legal labor will help American workers achieve the American Dream or create more American Jobs.
Ironically enough, we found the following paragraph on the "About Section" of the Partnership For a New American Economy: "Develop a simple and secure system for the employers to verify employment eligibility and hold businesses that are no compliant, or abuse visa programs accountable for their actions."
Although Disney does use E-Verify for several of their subsidiary companies, we could not find Disney's largest employer, Disney Parks and Resorts on the list of businesses using E-Verify.
It seems that the Partnership for a New American Economy is having trouble holding their own board member, Bob Iger, accountable for his actions on abusing visa programs.
